I really hope the new Sailor Moon will take inspiration from Precure and add a ton of physical fighting rather than just sparkly attack sequences.

thing is that in the manga and pgsm they actually do a lot of physical fighting
it’s the 90s style anime that was the issue dude

… The manga has a lot of physical fighting? Are you serious?
Because literally the only instance of someone throwing a proper punch or kick in the manga that I can recall is this scene.

And it’s probably the most awkwardly drawn acts of violence I’ve ever seen in a published work.
